HIS HOLINESS, BALDUIN III, PATRIARCH OF THE REDWOOD THRONE, THUS DECREES THIS EDICT OF TIONNA:
On the Matter of the Celestials:
THAT the matter of the Light of Heaven, the Realm of the CELESTIALS, and other material Matters shall be considered further by Throne Scholars to determine WHETHER the Light of Heaven and the THRONE are one and the same, or else the Light of Heaven is some other force or Supernatural Entity in Service to the THRONE. Clearly, the intentions of the CELESTIALS and their purpose in Descent are clear and generally benevolent. The existence of Celestials and their tales of origin are not at this time considered to present dogmatic contradictions to the Doctrine of the Redwood Throne.
FURTHER, It is determined that the CELESTIALS are, in accepting by their word mortality through Descent, mortal children of the Throne in this Realm, and should be afforded all the rights and responsibilities of same. It is expected that they will gladly and willingly choose to Serve the Throne, in Unity with their Brethren of the mortal realm, and it is Commanded of all who Serve the THRONE to assist the CELESTIALS in their Spiritual Awakening, and make Witness of the Revelation unto them.
FINALLY, WHILE it is desirable that all magic, particularly that which manipulates the Realms, be exercised solely under the Auspices of the Throne, there is not at this time an effective means of regulating the innate magic of the CELESTIAL; therefore the practice of Celestial Magic should not be at this time proscribed. However, CELESTIALS are forbidden from practicing Ritual Magic within those lands in which Ritualism is proscribed in general, save under the Auspices of the Throne, and in the same manner as all Ritualists.
On the Matter of the Returned:
THAT the Matter of the Grim Prison, its Purpose and Creation shall be considered further by Throne Scholars to determine WHETHER it is the work of the THRONE or of some ENEMY, and the precise will of the THRONE in this matter. However, it is clear that the presence of the RETURNED is the True Will of the THRONE; Harrowing of this Dismal Realm to offer the Heroes of the Past the Opportunity to truly Redeem themselves through Salvation in the Light of the Throne through their renewed Service. It shall be Commanded of all who Serve the THRONE to assist the RETURNED in their Spiritual Awakening, and make Witness of the Revelation unto them.
FURTHER, the same proscription against the practice of Ritual Magic applies to the RETURNED, they are forbidden from practicing Ritual Magic within those lands in which Ritualism is proscribed in general, save under the Auspices of the Throne, and in the same manner as all Ritualists.
IN ABSENTIA, a Writ of Legitimate Practice be issued to the RETURNED known as GAIUS CALDERUS ISIQUS, for his boon Service unto this Assembly through his Letter. All other RETURNED Ritualists are encouraged to Apply for Such a Writ immediately.
On the Matter of the Most Foul and His Servants:
IT IS AFFIRMED that the THRONE stands in complete opposition to the evil entity known as the Most Foul and his Servants, by their various names, and calls for their swift and thorough capture or destruction, wherever they might appear. The enforcement of this section of the Edict shall be the office of the LEFT HAND OF THE THRONE and the ORDER OF THE KNIGHTS OF THE THRONE.
On the Matter of Immolo Karvonnen
IT IS DECREED that The Magic utilized by Immolo Karvonnen should be discovered by the Ritualists of the THRONE and the offices of the LEFT HAND, as opportunity arises, that such Heresy as is attached to it might be discovered and combated.
On the Matter of Dalmied of Tharicia
IT IS DECREED that DALMIED of THARICIA (or TARSIKKA) shall be hitherto known and recognized as Dalmied Agio of Tharicia, a True Agio of the THRONE, and Patron of the Great Kingdom of Tarsikka. The text Nidremar's Attestation of the Faith should be obtained and copied into the body of THRONE Lore and Scholarship. The Veneration of DALMIED shall be permitted within the bounds of Canon Law and deemed Not Heresy, this should not, however, be interpreted to permit the heretical practices of the Cult of the Eternal Dawn, nor worship of the Agio as a god.
PATRIARCH BALDUIN III
By the Hand of Brother Elvin Preminger of the RED HERALDS.
