Welcome to the Eclipse Universe!
This section of our website introduces you to the setting of Eclipse. Here you will find much of the lore that makes up our game world, from the history and science of the universe to the planets that poplate it.
We recommend you begin by reading the section about the Eclipse Universe. Here you will be able to find a brief history of the known galaxy, what everyone knows. Beyond that you will find details for how Interplanetary Travel works and the level of Technology available to the people of Eclipse. You will be able to discover how the everyday lives of ordinary people of each culture live, a very different life than that of you, the adventurer. As our science and travel is not what you would expect, so too does the weaponry of Eclipse differ from expectations, and you will be able to see how the people of the galaxy have used their technology to advance the art of warfare. You will see a list of the most prominent corporations in the galaxy, as well as a Lexicon defining several key terms that you will hear frequently. After viewing the Eclipse Universe summary, you may proceed to any of the other sections with a better understanding of how our universe works.
First you will find the Races. From here you can explore the various races, from the prolific and disparate Humans to the various alien races known as the Tribes. Within the Races, you can find more information about their cultures, from the totalitarian religious state of the Imperium of Man to the corporate based structure of the Midir.
The Planets section details many of the planets for each culture, as well as Eclipse, a planet outside of any of these boundaries and steeped in mystery.
The Religion section details the various religions in the known galaxy, from the monotheistic religion of the Imperium of Man to the pantheons of the Tribes and the Fringers.
