Morgan’s Landing Neutral
MorgansLanding_article

We, the rational people of Morgan’s Landing, have had a robust debate regarding the escalating conflict between our two largest neighbors. We declare our neutrality, and we wish to preserve the neutrality of Iron Town. Those traveling peacefully to or from the gate should be allowed to travelfreely within the village. Convoys bound to Morgan’s Landing, or Suzaki carrying peaceable supplies, should not be accosted on this continent. We will not be party to this unfortunate squabble. A peaceful way should be found for Juris Vinro and those accused to have a fair and open trial. And their guilt should be judged in all justice and accord. Failing that, we let you know that the people of Morgan’s Landing stand united in this. We will not allow our citizens to be robbed, beaten, abused, or murdered. Those who involve themselves in this conflict do so at their own risk. We will have fair and unimpeded access to the gate, and in return, we will stay out of your fights. And should you choose peace, we will be happy to help unite the continent in trust and mutual prosperity. I would ask for the assistance of like-minded people. The Gatekeepers, the Rangers, My son. Their allies. Anyone else. I ask for you to examine your conscience, and perhaps not send that shipment of guns into this conflict. Perhaps not murder each other. We need more empathy, and less arrogance. And if you feel that someone’s actions are unjust, maybe you don’t […]

Suzaki Organize
worldwide

Anyone watching the roads of Eclipse has seen the Suzaki. Once seen as alien invaders of our home galaxy, these days they are more often seen as key to trade between settlements and across continents. With the general rise in tensions, they are seen as outside the squabbles of the Origo galaxy. Two months ago, Suzaki representatives of all the major convoys gathered in Gatetown for what became an almost month long festival, reunion, and meeting. Despite the celebratory atmosphere, they spent a great deal of time in serious discussion of the future. After much deliberation, the Suzaki have made a number of decisions regarding their collective future. They have made proclamations, so that their decisions can be shared openly with the other peoples of Eclipse. They have expressed a desire to continue to work with other peoples in peace, to promote a continued partnership. The Suzaki have created a council of tweve. One Councilor has been elected from each major road. Only Marauder Rail has no representative, as they are almost never traveled anymore, and no convoys are devoted to the route. There will be an organization with officials who serve each Councilor. During their first official meeting, they have elected Sydney Mender as the Magistrate of the Council. The Suzaki will continue to operate on the roads as they have. They have publicly requested that complaints, trade agreements, and other business should be directed towards the Councilor responsible for a particular road. They have also stated that this […]

Harmony Nexus
HNF ENN

Recently, the soon to be opened community center of Elder’s Grove was burned to the ground. This lamentable event urges me to reach out to all of you. The Harmony Nexus Foundation seeks to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good. Our mission is to provide service to people in need, and to call other people of good will to do the same. We are an independent, philanthropic organization that delivers aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, or natural/manufactured disasters. We seek to provide assistance to populations in need, regardless of race, religion, or political convictions. We believe every man, woman, and child should have health care, housing, proper nourishment and education. The decision to offer aid is based solely on an independent assessment of people’s needs — not on political, economic, or religious interests. We do not aid or take sides, according to the demands of governments, or warring parties. We are building community centers across the planet, so that everyone in a community can have a place they can go to feel safe, receive food, shelter, healing etc. We are building the centers as safely and as quickly as we can. But it takes time, it takes credits, and it takes the help of good people to make it possible. This recent wanton destruction is a prime example of why we need to set aside our differences and remember we all share this planet together. I […]

Global Storm
worldwide

In a demonstration of unprecedented psionic cooperation, a storm of psionically charged biological weaponry swept the planet during the earling morning hours.  The storm orignated in Elder’s Grove, and targeted individuals infected with the Black Adam poison.   As of this morning, it appears that the threat has been completely eliminated, and communities are starting to lift the quarantines established in the preceding days.

New Settlement Petitions Atlantis
Atlantis

The existence of a new settlement on the continent of Mu, named Omanganva, was announced today. It is primarily made up of Nasu, with some Meurlain, Free Szgany, and a growing number of Atlantean citizens. They are located on the coast, some days travel from Morgan’s Landing. Although the exact location is not being published, the Sea Briar Szgany have let it be known that they will be traveling there regularly, and will bring peaceful visitors with them. They will also handle trading for the settlement, which could start to compete with White Falls for the pharmaceutical market. The Nasu have also announced that they are petitioning to be named as a protectorate of Atlantis. This is unprecedented in recent Atlantean history, and yet another first on a planet of new things. The Atlanteans have made no official comment about the petition, although there is said to be great interest in the motion. The recent attack on the King of Atlantis was foiled, and the King is healthy and unharmed. The life of his advisor was saved by the quick-thinking actions of nearby Nasu, one of them a resident of the new settlement. The Memnonides, some of the protectors of Atlantis, have announced that they are offering aid and protection to the new settlement. Some have already traveled there, and will protect the settlement against High Asgardians and outside threats, at least until the issue of the petition has been decided. Well I say welcome to Eclipse, Omanganva. This is […]

Atlantis Trade Negotiations
Atlantis

A trade delegation led by Saito Ichiro (Meurlain) and Samir Abbasi (Midir) continues to meet with representatives of the Kingdom of Atlantis at Ironwood Terminus. “Our goal is to expand diplomatic and economic ties with the peoples of Atlantis,” said Abbasi. The Kingdom of Atlantis, ruled by King Lysandros VI, has remained aloof since the completion of the War, turning away all but a handful of visitors. Many observers believe that the kingdom has taken encouraging steps towards a more open relationship recently, including a call from King Lysandros for Atlantean volunteers to travel throughout the Hyperborean and Mu settlements.
